VibeOS 2.1.1

Release date: 6/13/2025

Updated this week

🚀 New Features:

  • Drag and Drop Images into Canvas - You can now drag images directly from the browser into Canvas while in split-screen mode. This makes it much easier to gather and edit visual content during presentations or brainstorming sessions.

  • Redesigned Overview - The new Overview panel helps you manage Video In and Extended Screen more efficiently. Quickly open the video input window or control the extend screen with simple clicks or drag-and-drop.

  • Vibe Screen 1.3.1 is now released with OS 2.1.1

    • Introducing the DigiFlip Template

      • Experience the charm of a mechanical split-flap display, right on your Vibe Board homescreen.

      • The new DigiFlip template lets you display stunning visuals with various modes and themes. Showcase fun pixel art, inspiring quotes, or build excitement with a countdown to your next big event. You can even flip the cards yourself for an interactive touch!

      • DigiFlip comes in Light Mode and Dark Mode following Vibe OS.

    • New Background Option: Color Patterns

      • Tired of plain, solid-color backgrounds? We've added three unique color patterns to bring your Vibe Board to life. Combine them with your favorite colors from the palette to create a background.

    • Photo Slideshows are Now Fullscreen by Default

      • To create a more immersive viewing experience, the Photo Slideshow now automatically displays in fullscreen.

      • It’s perfect for showcasing company products as a signage display or reliving your favorite personal memories as a digital photo frame.

      • You can easily disable this feature in the Screen app settings.

📈 Enhancements:

  • Auto-Switch to Video Input - When a new video input is connected, the board will automatically switch to the Video In screen. You can turn off this behavior anytime in system settings.

  • Updated Avatar Design - The default Vibe avatar has been refreshed for a more professional look and feel.

  • Casting related enhancement with OS 2.1.1

    • Enhanced webrtc stability

    • Tap auto-update

      • Tap’s auto-update has been moved prior to the pairing flow, and a UI dialog has been added to indicate the update process. Users now should be aware of the update and are encouraged to wait, but a “skip” option is still available if they have instant usage need.

🛠️ Bug Fixes:

  • Google Meet Auto-Framing Conflict - Fixed a conflict where both the camera and Google Meet tried to control auto-framing simultaneously.

  • Board audio output issue - Fixed a potential issue where the Vibe Board could lose audio output when connected via HDMI-in or streaming through AirPlay.
