Insert Dot into the case
When inserting Dot into the Magnetic or Clip Case, align the dust plug with Dot’s USB-C port. This ensures the device fits securely in the case.
Carry options
Option 1: Attach Dot to the back of your phone (Magnetic Case)
If your phone or phone case does not support MagSafe (available on iPhone 12 and later), attach the included magnetic ring to the back of your phone or phone case first.
Recommended for recording phone calls.
Option 2: Clip Dot to your clothing (Clip Case)
Ideal for meetings, interviews, or conversations while you're on the move.
Option 3: Place Dot on a desk
Best for stationary recordings, such as meetings or study sessions.
💡 Note:
Keep the microphone area clear and unobstructed.
When wearing Dot, avoid placing it where it may rub against clothing, as friction can affect audio quality.
