How to remove Vibe Dot from your workspace account

šŸ’” Note:

  • Vibe Dot must be unbound by ā€œRemove & Eraseā€ before it can pair with any new account. Only the Vibe Dot owner or the workspace admin can perform this action.

  • When removing Vibe Dot from your account and workspace, the following data will also be deleted:

    • Recording files (if any) that have not been transferred to Vibe AI app yet.

    • Your customized Vibe Dot settings.

  • It is suggested to connect Vibe Dot to your phone and ensure that no recordings remain on Vibe Dot before you remove it.

Remove & Erase Vibe Dot in Vibe AI app as device owner

  1. Click the device icon on the upper right corner of Home, and connect Vibe Dot to your phone.

  2. From device settings page, open the About sheet.

  3. Click ā€œErase & remove deviceā€.

Remove & Erase Dot as workspace admin

If someone left the workspace without removing their Vibe Dot, the workspace admin should perform ā€œErase & removeā€ on admin console so the Vibe Dot can be used by others.

  1. Log in https://admin.vibe.us/admin/ with admin account.

    • To remove Vibe Dot in this way, you must use a Chrome-based browser (e.g. Chrome, Microsoft Edge).

  2. Go to Vibe Dots , and select the Vibe Dot that you want to remove.

  3. Click ā€œErase & removeā€ and follow the instructions to connect Vibe Dot to your PC via a USB-C cable.

šŸ’” Note: You must physically obtain the Vibe Dot to perform the action. If a device is lost, you may archive it instead for now and restore it later if found.
