When encountering the error message "Device disk space critically low" and experiencing incorrect app icon display, follow these steps to address the issue:
As your disk space is full, the initial step is to remove all problematic apps to create available space. Long press on the app icon to initiate the deletion process.
Launch the "App Store" and go to "Discover apps" -> "Google Play Store".
Download the app "Package Manager".
Open the app and search for "vacfeedback".
Enter the "VacFeedback" app and proceed to "App info".
Tap on "Storage & cache".
Select "CLEAR STORAGE" and "CLEAR CACHE", confirming the deletion when prompted.
