Instructions:
Go to Settings in your app list page.
Navigate to "Device" -> "Keyboard" -> "On-screen keyboard settings".
Keyboard Popping up
You can customize the pop-up mode for the on-screen keyboard when a physical keyboard is connected to your board.
Automatically switch keyboards
When a physical keyboard is connected, the on-screen keyboard will be disabled automatically. Upon disconnection of the physical keyboard, the on-screen keyboard will be enabled automatically.
Always show on-screen keyboard
The on-screen keyboard will remain visible regardless of whether a physical keyboard is connected.
Never show the on-screen keyboard
The on-screen keyboard will not appear under any circumstances, even if a physical keyboard is not connected.

You can choose your preferred keyboard mode.

Keyboard icon in the shelf
You can choose to display or hide the on-screen keyboard icon in the shelf based on your needs.
Navigate to "Change input settings" at the bottom of the keyboard settings.
Enable "Show input options in the shelf" to make the on-screen keyboard icon available in the shelf for quick access.
Disable "Show input options in the shelf" to hide the on-screen keyboard icon and free up space in your shelf.
