How to use a Teams resource account to configure One-Click Video Conference

This article applies to the Vibe Board S1 55β€³/Vibe Board Pro 75β€³.

Create a Teams Resource Account

  1. Log in to Microsoft 365 Admin Center as an admin.

  2. On the left navigation menu, click Show all, then go to Resources > Rooms & equipment.

  3. Click Add, select Room as the resource type, fill in the details, and Save the new resource.

  4. On the left navigation menu, go to Users > Active users, select the resource you just created, then navigate to Licenses and apps and assign Microsoft Teams Essentials to it.

Manage Policies for the Teams Resource Account

  1. Log in to Microsoft Teams admin center as an admin.

  2. For example, we can configure an app-related policy -

    1. On the left navigation menu, go to Teams apps β†’ Setup policies, then create a policy for the required apps.

    2. On the same left navigation menu, go to Users β†’ Manage users, select the resource account, go to the Policies tab, and assign the policy you created.
