Instructions:
Log in to the Microsoft Teams Admin Center with your admin account.
Navigate to Meetings → Meeting policies. Either Edit an existing policy or Add a new custom meeting policy.
Under the policy’s Recording & transcription settings, you can disable the Meeting recording and Transcription features.
Once the policy is configured, assign it to specific users:
Select the chosen policy → Manage users → Assign users, add the users who should not have recording/transcription enabled.
Save all changes. The policy will take effect for those users going forward.
