Updated over a week ago

This article applies to the Vibe Board S1 55"/S1 75"/Pro 75".

Due to an Apple OS mechanism based on copyright protection, this error message may appear on your Vibe device:

β›” Error message: Streaming a video or audio is not supported yet. Use screen mirroring instead.

This error message may be triggered:

  • When you want to use AirPlay to cast a YouTube video or Twitch stream from your iPhone.

  • Whether you're using the "Screen Mirroring" from the toolbar directly, or the "Cast" option in the streaming app or Vibe website.

Here's The Workaround:

  1. Download the "Alook Browser" from the iPhone's App Store. *charges apply

  2. Select "Screen Mirroring" from the Vibe toolbar to cast from your iPhone to the Vibe Board.

  3. Open Alook Browser, enter YouTube, then open any video. You'll see that AirPlay is now ready to cast the video to your Vibe device.

  4. On your iPhone, click the full-screen button at the right corner of the video to enter full-screen mode on your Vibe Board.
