How to troubleshoot casting issues

Troubleshoot screen cast/screen mirror/screen share issues for different methods.

Wireless connection

  • cast.vibe.us website/Vibe Cast app

    one.vibe.us is a web-based portal we designed to achieve wireless screen casting from your device to your board.

    Vibe Cast app is a Windows-based application we designed to achieve wireless screen casting from your Windows device to your board.

    Troubleshooting Steps

    • Ensure VibeOS on your board is up to date

    • Confirm your device and your board are on the same network

    • The best practice will be connecting your device to the Vibe HotSpot, which will give you better performance and a more stable connection.

    • Try each of these two options to find which has a better experience

  • Airplay

πŸ’‘ Note:

  • Sometimes, certain casting protocols or ports within the network are blocked. You may want to check with your local network administrator.

  • If your wireless connection is poor, you could also try a wired connection.

Wired connection

  • HDMI cable connection

    Using an HDMI cable to mirror from your device to your board is the most basic wired connection.

    Troubleshooting Steps

    • HDMI cable head is too thick

      Around all the USB/HDMI ports for the S1 board, there are edges

      If your cable has a thick head, the edges may block the metal part from being fully inserted into the bottom of the port. In this case, please use an HDMI cable with a thinner head.

    • HDMI socket connection is loose

      Please ensure you have fully plugged the socket into the HDMI port on your board.

  • USB-C cable conncetion

    Troubleshooting Steps

    • Please ensure you have connect to "TOUCH" port
