To get a really reliable, robust user experience, it is strongly recommended to connect the Vibe Smartboard using Ethernet and the client device using the 5Ghz Wi-Fi band.

πŸ’‘ Note:

According to the statistics of commonly used ports, Vibe will use ports 8100-9399 as common listening ports. All subsequent Vibe export services must use ports within this range. If you need to assign ports for a new server, please keep some distance from the previously used ports to prevent conflicts as existing services scale up and require more ports.


🌐 Web App - vibe.run

  • The Vibe Board and client devices must be on the same network subnet as each other.

  • It is recommended to use dual WiFi for a better experience: turn on a hotspot from the Vibe SmartBoard and connect client devices to it.

  • Ports:

    UDP 32768~60999

  • For Windows:

    If casting fails from a Windows PC, check the Windows Defender settings.

  • Please ensure mDNS is enabled on the network/access point/wireless controller (where applicable).

  • The Vibe SmartBoard and client devices must be on the same network subnet as each other.

  • Ports:

    TCP 7000, 7001, 7100
    UDP 5353 (mDNS for Airplay broadcasting)
