π‘ Vibe Tap's functions and limitations
Vibe Tap can only cast to Vibe Boards, not other devices.
The Tap's USB-C port requires a device with a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort (DP) protocol.
If your device only has an HDMI port, you will need an HDMI to USB-C Adapter for viewing only. Touchback is not supported via HDMI.
Here is the recommended device for HDMI connection.
How to Pair the Vibe Tap to your Vibe Board
Plug the Vibe Tap into port "1. USB-C" or "2. USB-C" on your Vibe board. Your board will detect Vibe Tap and complete pairing.
After the Vibe Tap completes pairing with your board, unplug it from your board and plug it into the USB-C port of your PC, which supports the DisplayPort protocol.
Vibe Tap will automatically match the last paired board. The light will blink white during pairing. Please wait for your board to confirm the successful pairing. The Vibe Tap light will be solid white when connected.
Press the Vibe Tap button to begin casting your PC screen to the board. The light will turn green when casting is successful.
You can switch between "Mirror" and "Extend" display modes from your PC.
Window PC: Press the Windows logo key + P. More details.
MacBook: Please follow this article.
π‘ Note:
If you want to cast to the last paired board again, just plug Vibe Tap directly into your PC without re-pairing.
To pair a new board, long press the Tap button for 3 seconds to forget, then follow the pairing steps again.
Reset the Vibe Tap
There is a Reset option in the Vibe Tap settings when you plug the Vibe Tap into your board. Resetting and re-pairing sometimes can resolve some pairing failure issues.
β Issue: Vibe Tap does not communicate with the board when plugged into a computer
