Best practice - Streamline workflow with annotation and Canvas
Updated over a week ago

Sometimes, after annotating the content, we are unable to quickly copy the annotated content to the canvas for sharing with our peers. This best practice can help you.

Split screen

  1. Open the website in the Chromium browser, split the screen between the canvas and Chromium.

Annotate on the file

  1. Annotate on the webpage, save the annotations locally, and drag the annotation file onto the canvas.

  2. Within the canvas, teammates can engage in discussions and take notes based on the annotations.

Share the canvas

  1. Open the canvas from the home screen. Tap "Share" at the right top to send the canvas to your teammate.

  2. Navigate to "Get Canvas Code" to generate and share the code with your teammate, enabling them to join your canvas. Customize the sharing option to "Anyone with the link or code", and adjust the access level between "Can view" and "Can edit" as needed.

  3. Now, you and your teammate can leave notes and annotations on the canvas page. There are a variety of tools such as brushes, shapes, sticky notes, and objects to annotate the content.
