Updated over 2 weeks ago

This article applies to the Vibe Board S1 Pro 55"/75".

📌 Steps to Switch the Vibe SmartCam Connection

  1. Switch to the Vibe OS Side

    • From the Vibe home screen, tap the drop arrow (caret icon) located in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

  2. Access the Vibe SmartCam Settings

    • In the quick settings menu, tap the Vibe SmartCam icon.

  3. Choose the Connection Destination

    • You’ll see a dropdown next to “Connect camera to”.

    • Tap the dropdown and choose either:

      • Vibe OS – if you want to use the camera with apps like Zoom or Microsoft Teams running directly on the Vibe interface.

      • Windows – if you want to use the camera with apps running in the Windows environment.

  4. Confirm the Switch

    • After selecting the desired OS, the camera will automatically switch its connection.

Best Practices

  • Always ensure you're on the correct side (Vibe OS or Windows) before starting your video call.

  • If your video conferencing app cannot detect the camera, check that the SmartCam is connected to the correct OS using the steps above.

🛠️ Troubleshooting

If the camera isn’t functioning after switching:

  • Restart the app you’re using (e.g., Zoom, Teams).

  • Disconnect and reconnect the camera.

  • Restart the device if the problem persists.

  • Submit a feedback log from the Vibe OS by tapping the power button once, then selecting Feedback from the on-screen options.
