Note: The Vibe Smart Camera is only compatible with the Vibe Board S1 models.
Q1: Can I connect the camera to a computer?
No. The Vibe C1 Smart Camera is designed to e used with the Vibe Board S1. It is not supported for use with external computers.
Q2: How does auto-zoom work on the camera?
The camera includes Auto-Framing Mode, which automatically zooms in or out depending on how many people are in view. It dynamically adjusts to provide the best framing for your meeting.
Q3: Why isn't the camera displaying in 4K?
The Vibe C1 uses Sony 4K sensors and includes AI-based features that may digitally crop or zoom the image. This processing can downsample the final video output to 1080p or 720p, which we’ve tested to provide optimal image quality.
Q4: Why does the camera image appear blurry or grainy?
A few possible reasons:
Digital cropping in AI mode may reduce image clarity.
The fixed focus range of 0.63m to 12.63m works best in small to mid-sized rooms. Subjects outside this range may appear out of focus.
Some video conferencing apps may default to 720p, which can cause image softness when scaled to large screens.
The camera uses a Sony IMX415 4K sensor with improved sharpness and low-light performance compared to standard webcams.
Q5: What should I do if the camera isn’t working with my S1 board?
Try these steps:
Unplug and replug the camera into the S1.
If no "Camera connected" message appears, reboot the S1 and try again.
If it still doesn’t work, please submit a support ticket to our team for further help.
Q6: Why doesn't the camera light stay on?
The camera light only turns on when video is active. If only the microphone is in use, the light will remain off.
Q7: How can I adjust microphone volume?
You can change the mic volume from the secondary volume menu. Tap the volume button (indicated by the red circle in the guide) to open additional audio settings.
Q8: I can't find smart feature settings—why?
If you don’t see settings for smart features:
First, verify your camera is compatible with your S1 board using the camera’s serial number (see next question).
If compatible, consult our help documentation for steps to access and configure smart settings.
Q9: How do I check my camera model?
Look for the serial number on the bottom of the camera:
Serial starts with “VC”: For Vibe Board S1 55” – ARM RK3588
Serial starts with “VBMZ”: For Vibe Board S1 55” – Intel i5
Make sure your camera model matches your board variant.
Q10: Why is my camera not compatible with the board?
Each S1 board variant has a dedicated camera model:
VC-series cameras → Vibe Board S1 55" – ARM RK3588
VBMZ-series cameras → Vibe Board S1 55" – Intel i5
Using the wrong camera for your board can result in incompatibility and loss of functionality. Always confirm your board and camera pairing before setup.
