How to fix TPM issue for Vibe Board S1 55"

This article applies to the Vibe Board S1 55" - Intel i5.

Prerequisite:

  • An external USB keyboard and a USB-A to USB-C adaptor are needed!

  • Please feel free to contact our support team, if you need any help with the steps below.

Instructions:

Enter BIOS Page

  1. Reboot the board, and before the system boots into the operating system, press the Esc key on the external keyboard repeatedly. This will take you to the BIOS settings page.

    (If you miss the time window to enter the BIOS, you can manually reboot the board and try again.)

Clear TPM

  1. Use the keyboard arrow keys to navigate to the Advanced section and select Trusted Computing.

  2. In the Trusted Computing sub-menu, select Pending Operation and press Enter.

  3. Scroll down with the down arrow key until you see the TPM Clear option. Select [TPM Clear] by pressing Enter.

    • Make sure that Platform Hierarchy is still [Enabled]. This is important, as disabling it may cause issues with the Vibe board.

  4. Select the Exit tab and then Save Changes and Exit. Press Enter to exit, then the TPM will be cleared.

Disable Platform Hierarchy

  1. While the system is rebooting, hold the Esc key again to enter the BIOS settings.

  2. Go to the Advanced section and select Trusted Computing.

  3. [Disable] the Platform Hierarchy option.

  4. Select the Exit tab and then Save Changes and Exit.

โš ๏ธ Caution: If you see a blank screen after you have completed all the above steps, you will need to restart your board.
